"Since joining NAWBO in 1998, I have forged meaningful relationships with a variety of women business owners, many of whom have become personal friends over the years. As with most organizations, you get out of it what you put into it. Being active on the board and committees is a great way to get to know members and have them get to know you and your business. My involvement has been a tremendous experience for me and beneficial to my business. Women business owners in Rochester are fortunate to have an incredibly supportive and vibrant local NAWBO chapter!"

"GRC NAWBO was the first call that I made when I moved to Rochester 3 years ago and it was the best call that I could have made. The group was dynamic and supportive and instantly connected me to my new community. In addition to being great for my business, NAWBO has been wonderful in introducing me to women who have become some of my best friends. I always feel energized and appreciative after being with NAWBO women. Being the president of the chapter has been such a privilege and a true pleasure; I have loved every moment of it!"

"I joined GRC-NAWBO a little over a year ago, primarily to continue developing my skills as a business owner, and learn from the success of others like me in the Rochester area. Not only did GRC-NAWBO fulfill my primary goal, but what I have gained from my membership is invaluable. I attend the NAWBO events on a regular basis and I always leave each event with a wealth of knowledge and a source of contacts that would have been otherwise unattainable. I am able to immediately apply this knowledge in the day-to-day operations of my own business. The energy and excitement that I experience by being a member of NAWBO is priceless.
For me, the best part of being a NAWBO member is sharing challenges, issues, and successes with a group of fellow business owners. NAWBO creates a positive, proactive forum that allows me to grow, learn, and become the best business owner I can be."

"When I moved back to Rochester (my hometown) from Phoenix, Arizona in 2005, one of the first things I did was seek out a local NAWBO chapter.
I had a wonderful experience in Phoenix with the NAWBO chapter there and wanted to meet local women here and continue my relationship with the organization. Although we (GRC-NAWBO) are smaller by comparison, (Phoenix is a huge city with a large chapter) we are by no means small in stature. I am thankful for and excited by the wonderful structure of this group and the opportunities GRC-NAWBO provides to be with exceptional women, month after month. The women of this group have been so supportive of me and the opening of my new employee benefits agency, that I cannot fully express my gratitude for the unparalleled amount of encouragement I have received."

"Since attending my first GRC-NAWBO event in January 2008, I have been introduced to a variety of the most amazing women I have ever met. GRC-NAWBO is an organization comprised of the most genuine, honest, supportive, enthusiastic, helpful, and positive-minded women of our community. Through the events, activities, and networking opportunities made available throughout each month, I have learned an immense amount of invaluable information and experience from other business owners, which has helped me in the development of my own business, Betta Book Publishing. Through these moments, I consider each member of GRC-NAWBO as a mentor, as they have helped me grow into the confident business owner I am today."
